Like any other holiday, Mother’s Day can make us frantic…
We scour stores just to find the best give to show how much we appreciate our moms.
But you know what? I’ll let you in on 2 secrets.
First, you may have been mislead.
Remember the title above? “…doesn’t cost much…” well, the best Mother’s day gift actually doesn’t cost ANYTHING!
Second, what’s the greatest gift then?
Appreciation. Plain and simple.

Here’s a great example. I was emailing with one of our readers, talking about how we hoped she’d win a GC giveaway for a local restaurant. She mentioned she wanted to win because:
“I really feel my Mame deserves a treat because she made a lot of sacrifices for us, her children. I told her that, now I know how it is being a mom.”

For me, no material gift can ever top a heartfelt appreciation from a child.

The most precious gift I received this Mother’s day was the card that my husband and my 15 year old son made. The bonus was that they made our 3 year old Sari give it to me with her sweet, “Happy Mother’s Day!” greeting
The funny thing is everytime she sees that card, she always makes it a point to greet me, “Happy Mother’s Day, Mama!” with a kiss.:)
