Grandfather Kills His Grandson Then Himself

This is not a very happy New Year for the family of this tragedy.
In Erath County, Texas, a 3-year old boy was found dead inside a car along with his grandfather.
The story
Jose Antonio Torres lived with his wife, 15-year old daughter and his 3-year old grandson named Miguel.
On the afternoon of December 30, Friday, Torres came home to find Miguel without his mother around to care for him. Apparently, 35-year old Torres became upset with his daughter’s parenting that he forcibly took the child out of the house and headed for his car.
On his way out, he shot at his wife but missed.
He then drove off about a couple of hundred yards away from his home where he shot his grandchild and himself.
What a tragedy indeed
And one that happened immediately right around the holidays.
While the case is still under investigation, many folks are baffled by the actions of this man. What would drive a grandfather to kill an innocent child? More so his own grandchild?
Could the anger he felt towards his daughter have been reason enough to end lives in such a horrible manner?
Or is there something else going on?
