Guest Post Guidelines

Who can guest post?

Bloggers and writers who can offer informative and well-written articles.

Companies or organizations that want to promote their products and or services.

  • This arrangement type falls under sponsored guest posts. Do note that links pointing back to your website will be nofollow, as advised in this post on Google Webmaster Tools. (For more details on this, go to the Advertise/Partner page.)

Guest post process

Please do not send an email asking if I’m interested in accepting guest posts.
  1. Read the guidelines below. If you agree to all of it…
  2. Check this blog to see if the topic you want to write about has already been covered.
  3. Submit an outline or complete article here for consideration.
  4. Expect a response the next Monday or Tuesday (GMT +8) after submission. That’s when guest post requests are reviewed.

Guest post guidelines

Topics only currently accepted are on child behavior and child discipline.  

1. Guest post details:

  • Only original and unpublished articles are accepted.
  • Include an introduction and conclusion.
  • Format the article for easy reading: use lists via bullet points or numbering (unless it’s in essay format), short paragraphs (2-3 sentences each), and headings to break-up the post into sections.
    • You may want to read more about formatting from Jeff Goins - skip to the “Write for Scanners” section.
  • Use at least 1 photo and give proper credit. Videos are allowed too.
  • You may add links relevant to the post.
  • Have an author bio with links to your blog or website, and or social media profile(s).

2. Review details:

  • Be open to any revisions.
  • Make sure you have the time or are willing to revise if you are asked to.

3. Publishing details (if your post is accepted):

  • Please do not publish it elsewhere.
  • It will be published under “Guest Blogger.” If it is a sponsored post, it will be announced to the readers.
