Green Eggs & Moms » Blog Archive Art Appreciation for Kids: Ang Illustrador ng Kabataan (Ayala Museum)

From the archive. This post was first published on the original Green Eggs and Moms blog and is kept here as it was.

Young children often love doodling, which explains how their “artwork” ends up on the fridge door. But how do you encourage them to appreciate art even more? Simple!

You can join lots of Manila events but there’s one right now which is hosted by the Ayala Museum. They will be offering a series of lectures and workshops that coincide with the exhibition for Ang Illustrador ng Kabataan (INK) 20 Taon, which is a foundation for illustrators of children’s books. What’s in store for your kids? Art workshops and discussion panels with book illustrators, authors, publishers and reviewers.

If this is something you’d like your kids to be a part of, check out the link above. The Ayala Museum is located in Makati, Philippines, and the earliest activity is scheduled on November 26, 2011.
