Dr Seuss' "The Lorax" Movie is Coming Soon! | Green Eggs & Moms

From the archive. This post was first published on the original Green Eggs and Moms blog and is kept here as it was.

I absolutely love Dr. Seuss! And I think I’ve made that pretty obvious: look at the name of this blog.

The movie is set to be released next year, though I wish it would screen sooner. Be sure to put this on your list of kiddie movies to watch. Why, you ask? Because aside from its entertainment value, your kids can pick up a valuable lesson from the plot.

For those of you who haven’t read The Lorax, let me give you the gist before you head to Google.

The book is a kiddie version of how industrialization is slowly killing the environment. So, if you’re a an eco-mom on a crusade to save the environment, this would be a great book or movie to read or watch with your kids.
