Sem break has arrived. It’s now time to wind down and have fun with your kids.

Now, they’ll be out of school for a few weeks so take advantage of this opportunity to create loving and special memories with them. I’m sure you’ll enjoy as well.

What activities for kids have you planned already? If you haven’t had the time to do so, I’ve prepared unique ideas for this special school-break:

 1. Make magic potion drinks at home.

2. Go outdoors and plant a tree.

3.  Take your pictures with sharks! Safely, of course, at Manila Ocean Park.

4.  Teach kids a special magic trick. (This is a magic knife trick. For safety, use a plastic knife or safer substitutes such as straw.

5. Visit a popcorn factory to see them pop.

6. Teach your kids a game, but not just any kind! Teach them a Filipino game or two.

7. Visit an orphanage to donate old clothes & toys.

8. See the galaxy without ever leaving Earth: go to a planetarium.

9. Read cool Earth facts together.

10. Prepare or cook any of these easy and creative food ideas.

These are only a few of the many fun activities you can enjoy with your children. If you can, go ahead and make a list including your children’s interests to make it more memorable for them. However, do remember that more than the activity itself, it’s the quality time you spend together that will make great memories.

Get your thinking hat on and get creative! Come up with other cool activities for you and your kids now.
